Web/Windows based Business Application
WBC receives repeat AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) for desktop and web sites
as its customer feels very easy and adaptable at the simplified processes and start
increasing their revenues by concentrating on their core competencies; read below
the phases involved in initiating the software maintenance.
- Phase 1: Send executable application with database
- All relevant documents (Viz. SRS, HLD, LLD, Program specification document, UML
documents, Online help, user manual and other documents)
- Phase 2: Send complete Source code
- Phase 3: WBC will add the Source code in their source code control system
- Phase 4: Do changes, build application, ship latest releases and wait for other
changes.
- WBC Team will review the code and be prepared to maintain the project Create a document
to manage the change control request, to record the changes requested and this will
be a key document to track the maintenance activities with version control.
We as a Service Provider will be responsible for the following maintenance tasks
to be completed timely (within 24 hours from notice)
For Web Sites
- Manage - Control Panel for Domain names / Web spaces
- Web space / domain renewals (For which advance payment will be made)
- FTP user creation / deletion / changes
- Email ID creation for users when requested
- Website Security (from hacking and Injections)
- No adult content (Pornography)
- No online gambling
- No Spam
- No unsolicited e-mailing
- Vendor should guarantee of 99.99% availability per month.
- In case the website goes down due to fire / natural calamities, the vendor should
commit a time frame to get the website up and running.
- It is preferable that the vendor has a mirror site in India or the US. (Optional)
- Website backups - Monthly/ quarterly / half yearly / every year - based on customer
request
- Managing the payment gateway, capturing the orders, informing the order processing
department on the orders received as per customer request (Optional)
- Database Backup and maintenance - i.e. deletion of unwanted records etc.
- Monthly website statistics reporting
- Monthly user log reports (if any available with website)
- Check all broken links in the website
- Minor HTML modifications in the existing design template, content and images as
is, in particular allowing multiple member-login-IDs per member organisation.
- See that all pages will execute properly with no unexpected errors (Page not found
and other similar errors)
- Adding what's NEW, latest news HTML- PAGE links to site
- Ensure the web pages are loading as quick as possible
- See that page design formatting will be uniform
- See that Sitemap is exactly laid out as per customer requirement
- If required check for web site design compatibility with Internet Explorer, Firefox
browsers.
- Website uploading whenever necessary based on the files received from customer.
- Communication via Email reporting / Chatting
- We also undertake new html, image processing flash, programming work in enhancing
the existing web site at a mutually agreed additional cost.
